Advancing Democratic Empowerment

The Advocacy Institute and The Democracy Collaborative are co-organizing a workshop on “Advancing Democratic Empowerment and Governance: A Proposal for a Learning Network”, at the October 13-16 Global Governance 2002 (G02) convention in Montreal, Canada. The Convention, which aims to raise awareness and deepen understanding of democratic global governance will draw thousands of delegates from around the world. The Collaborative’s workshop on October 14 will bring together leading activists and scholars to highlight innovative examples of democratic experiments underway in the South and North.
